METHOD OF PAYMENT

For purchases made online, the only method of payment accepted is bank transfer.
Cheques or transfers of any type on PayPal or Western Union accounts are not acceptable under any circumstance.

POLICY ON HOLDING AND RESERVATIONS

Watches may be reserved free of charge for a maximum of 72 hours.

After such time, a deposit of 5% of the total value of the timepiece will be required, paid by bank transfer. This advance will be returned should the customer not complete the purchase within 10 days of the payment of the advance. Thereafter, following a period greater than 10 days, the advance will not be returned under any circumstances and the timepiece will again be put up for sale on our website and in our store.

Requesting us to hold or reserve a watch for 72 hours is free and expires without any further penalty should the patron decide not to go ahead with the purchase.

GUARANTEES

In addition to the fundamental and transparent guarantee on the legal origin of the goods, we provide additional guarantees that mean our customers can make a purchase in total peace and security.

In particular, we provide, free of charge, a lifetime warranty on the originality of the timepiece and one year guarantee on the proper functioning of every watch purchased from our website or our shop, as long as the watch sold by us has not been opened, altered or tampered with. Within the warranty terms, once our trusted technician has established and verified that any defect was not caused by external tampering, we will try to correct problems quickly and without any expense to the customer.

We also offer a signed and dated CD ROM with professional photographs of the watch purchased, effectively yet another guarantee in respect to the originality and provenance of the purchase.

Finally, we would also like to stress our policy regarding the water resistance of watches offered for sale.

The water resistance of vintage watches can in no way be guaranteed. However, with modern watches, we can 100% guarantee that they are waterproof, subject to certain exceptions, depending on the type of watch.

In any case, we will take it upon ourselves to inform you at the time of sale whether the watch you have purchased was worked on and made waterproof by our trusted technician.

SHIPPING

Once we receive your payment, the goods will be shipped within 24-48 hours and delivered to your home. Shipping, for every watch bought via our website, is completely free of charge. Each package is shipped via an armoured CIT (cash-in-transit) service, is insured for the full amount and is traceable at all times. However, we urge customers to let us know immediately should they notice slight anomalies and slight inaccuracies in the delivery of their parcel, to give us the opportunity to inform the CIT company used.

RETURNS POLICY

The buyer has the right to terminate the contract by written notice by email at, within 7 working days of receipt of goods.

In addition, the customer must provide for, at their own expense, the return of the goods, using the original packaging within 10 working days from the date of receipt.

The goods will be examined and, if found intact and free of damage, the amount will be credited and returned to the purchaser. The refund will be made by bank transfer as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days following receipt of the email that notified the request to withdraw from the purchase, but not before the return of the product purchased, which must be in the same condition it was in when delivered.

The purchaser has the right to withdraw from the purchase without penalty, and the only charges against they will be held responsible for will be those relating to the return of the item.

We would also like to stress that should the purchase be made from outside Italy, the firm Charles Cantelli Watches will not pay any duties, VAT or insurance reimbursement related to the return of the item, the payments of which will be fully down to the purchaser.
